LOS ANGELES - Jean Simmons, the film star who played Ophelia to Laurence Olivier’s Hamlet, sang with Marlon Brando in “Guys and Dolls” and co-starred with Gregory Peck, Paul Newman and Kirk Douglas, has died. She was 80.
