Norwegian police are sure they have recovered the original Munch paintings–The Scream & the Madonna. Theirs must be a rigiorously, intense six-weeks at the academy.
My Norwegian is more than a bit rusty, but this is what I have gleaned from the interview with Blute Hammersk.
“So I was walking in my apartment block to my flat and I hear all this noise from a flat next to elevator. Now I’m a big Faye Wray fan and was rushin’ to get home before the King Kong retrospective began on Norskvision at 8 pm. I looked at my watch and I knew it wasn’t the movie that I heard behind the door. Besides, as a real Faye fan, I could tell her sound anywhere. This one was more like those American films where the hero sees something terrible about to happen and his voice slides down two octaves and he hollers “Nooooooooooooo!” while the action falls into slow motion. Regardless, it was scary sound so I decided to pound on the door. When there was no response except for a continuation of the mournful cry, I pushed it in to find the subjects propped on the sofa. I covered the Madonna but that other kept screaming all the way to headquarters.”
