“I have said publicly, and I will again, that unless he proves me wrong, he (Obama) is a Marxist,” - Tom DeLay.

Proves you wrong?!
Unlike most members of the cockroach family, this mean-spirited little Texan craves the spotlight. His former profession’s quarry were a step-up from the vermin with whom he caucused in the House.
No one owes him anything except a warm, moist place to sleep.

The Wrath Of Tom DeLay
By Robert D. Novak

Newt Gingrich’s attempted phoenix-like rise from his own political ashes to a presidential candidacy will run next week into a harsh assessment by his former House Republican colleague Tom DeLay. The former majority leader’s forthcoming memoir assails Gingrich as an “ineffective” House speaker with […]

Dear Tom: Now ye can continue with thy true vocation–fasting and the preaching of the word of god. Ye shall be Tom the Baptist wandering Sugarland to prepare sinful mankind for the Apocalypse. Whereas Christ’s cousin had to take his chances when chowing down on insects, thy past life will come in handy as ye shall know the difference between cockroaches, silverfish, water beetles and termites.

Delay Announces Plan to End Career in Congress
By Richard Simon, Janet Hook and Mary Curtius

WASHINGTON — Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Tex.), once one of the most influential Republicans in Congress, announced today that he will soon step down from Congress, ending a tumultuous congressional career.

One has to tip the old Jimmy Hatlo Hat to Tom Delay. Despite the situation, he is still able to take sanctimoniousness to yet a higher level. Fear of tempting Fortuna would constrain less foolhardy people. Not Tom. He even wants his gun permit returned. Maybe best defense is a good offense, but sometimes the best defense is keeping one’s mouth shut. I’m certain he is attempting to galvanize his base by mixing Jesus n’ Ammo, but I have a sneaking suspicion his constituents are smarter than he may believe. Is it possible that Tom “doesn’t get” it?
