Rep. Rohrabacher: Global Warming May Have Been Caused By ‘Dinosaur Flatulence’ »
This week, Congress held its first hearing on the landmark IPCC report on climate change. That report concluded that global warming is “unequivocal” and human activity is the main driver, “very likely” causing most of the rise in temperatures since 1950.
During the […]

A Chicago pal sent me the AP version of the story. As frightening as it is, imagine if it had occurred in the 1950s when sea lions were 40-feet long because of nuclear, atmospheric testing.

Diane Feinstein’s opponent, Richard Mountjoy, made a mistake. Apparently, he never served on the USS Missouri…

…but maybe he read Bernard De Voto’s ACROSS THE WIDE MISSOURI, liked MISSOURI BREAKS or once knew a guy from Missouri.
Mr. Mountjoy’s website leads off with a Scriptural passage which changes each time you enter. While this certainly is a soothing interlude for the man who is called the Father of Proposition 187, I like […]

What a coincidence. John Mark Karr had written a film script…

…and wants Johnny Depp to play him.
Mr. Karr may not have a range of emotion, but he was able to convince two governments’ immigration and law enforcement departments to bring him back to Boulder.

Three different articles talk about the disaster which our election process has become.

Monday, August 28th, 2006

The Rasmussen Survey proclaims that voters in most states say the political system is a mess.
Raw Story had two articles about grotesque voting problems in Florida and California. These problems will undoubtedly reverberate in other states as Florida’s 2000 election set the standard for Ohio’s 2004 debacle.

Let’s introduce this post as if we learned all vocabulary from cable talking heads. “This is another story of a Virgin Mary sighting. It did not have much traction this week and the sightings may be suffering from a less than robust need to know. If these people want to continue their streak of getting on camera, they had better ramp up their act because–at the end of the day–the Virgin Mary stories are beginning to sound the same.
