Erstwhile mule-skinner Rusty Ketchum leads the
Afternoon Congressional out of Washington, D.C.’s Union Station
and accelerates the train to 180 m.p.h. on the first long
straight section of roadbed. The electric-diesel livestock are imports from the 4-H Club of Wister, Oklahoma and require almost daily
maintenance by a hand-picked crew of six technicians.
