What if… …Yamamoto had sent a third wave to Pearl Harbor? …Stonewall Jackson had not been killed? …Czar Nicholas had been a real mensch? …Richard Nixon had hired a professional television make-up expert? These types of questions are the basis for historians who have employed a lively approach to the topics. There is a second tier of far less serious historical conjecture. What if… …Napoleon had RPGs at Waterloo? …the 7th Cavalry had three Browning Automatic Rifles at Little Big Horn? …gangsters of the 1920s and 1930s settled disputes by slapping one another until the loser cried? Finally, you have my question. It is a combination of the first two types and leads me to ask: Had the Third Reich triumphed in World War II, how would Lionel train catalogues have been affected? I believe the answer is obvious.

How do we know it was a serious plot? THE BRITS ANNOUNCED IT. The White House ecstasy only makes sense if the U.S. voters are to choose between Labor and Tories in November. As of last night night, reports stated that Prime Minister Tony Blair had not informed W until the week-end. One can blame Blair for many things, but outright stupidity isn’t one of them. W would have probably blurted out something about the investigation while waiting for his portion of pork and bread at a political rally. He has proven his capability of doing just that.

Fearfully, we see another demonstration of strength in the anti-evolutionists’ argument against Darwin. Depending on one’s perspective, the article states the legislative acts are either called “Stand your ground” or “Shoot First” laws. As more states participate in what will become an orgy of violence, the need for greater imagination will force more snippets of movie and television gunfight-speak into the early 21st Century U.S. lexicon.
